What’s the best way to build thigh muscle besides running?

Running is a given I know, and I love to run, but I want to know if there are any ways that I can build thigh muscles other than big work out machines and running. Thanks.

Just a suggestion… you can put a bunch of books on your feet and lie on your back and go up and down, up and down. You can also go to the gym and if you see something that looks kind of like field goal posts….if you put a weight between your feet and lift your legs up with the weight in it, that is also a great workout.

Squats and lunges. Once you can do three or four sets of several reps apiece, add weights by carrying dumbells. You can also do squats with a bar across your shoulders, and add weights as you build your strength.

alright man im in track, cross country, and powerlifting.. easy to build your legs. Runnin is good, but if u wanna have legs. Gotta do some squats not really heavy…. try this 4 sets of 8. change the weight everytime ur next set is up. next legs press. 3 sets of 12. Leg extensions 4 sets of 15(light weight). make sure u strecth ur gonna be sore. But u should be good/
