I want to do the high jump for track so i need to learn a little bit. I know jumping actively uses almost every muscle in your body but isn’t there a single muscle or maybe a group of muscles that really plays a big part in your jump?

The primary muscles would be the quadriceps group, and the calf muscles. However you are correct in that it takes your entire body and almost all of the muscles to jump.
