If I want to build muscle, should I just start lifting weights?
I lost a ton of weight with cardio. I’m a lot healthier and I look a hell of a lot better but I need some muscles. Skinny boys tend to get their arses kicked.

My basketball coach is telling me to build more strength. I have no fat in me and I just want to know if I can still gain muscle if I dont have fat. I am kind of skinny.

I run now and then, but want to run consistently, I’m thin and have a high metabolism, so I don’t gain weight too easily.

Why do so many people just for the cause of building muscle? Shouldn’t it be to be healthy, feel good, build stamina, and get into best shape? Because that’s what I think about when I workout, building muscle is just a product of that.
