also whats alternetive to the upper cabel flys for 1 set of 50 coz my gym only has single cabel mashine not double one if anyone could answer as soon as as im gana do this workout tommrow

if you’re going heavy like around 6 reps or less, you can rest up to a max of 2 minutes or even 3. it depends on the individual. but usually, if it’s anything above 8 or 10, 30 seconds to 1 minute.

because when you’re explosive on the way up you engage the fast-twitch muscle fibres, and when you’re focusing on slowing down, you’re actually using more force than pressing up.
in order words, yes, it’s called working out.

@sirglenn2k oh yeah, well i guess he would take probly 60-90 seconds.. maybe with a isolation excercise inbetween? if hes supersetting.. i dont like to rest, if i was doing a 5×5 i would do my first set of 5 on bench or whatever then maybe chest flys or a tricep extention while im resting

muscle building = 60 – 90 second rest
fat loss = no rest – 30 second rest. thus making it high intensity workout

i meant like when he said 5 times 5 at the end i dont think you are suposed to do 5 reps-5reps-5reps-5reps-5reps without any breaks because then it wouldnt be 5×5
but he doesnt say how much break in between sets

@sirglenn2k the less time you rest the better.. but if your lazy and need to rest take 30-45 seconds

@annihilator007 do abs every second day. allways. i like to throw them inbetween my sets while i rest.. i wouldnt dedicate a day just for abs.. just do them on a regular basis
