I’m not sure, but i think that this 6-day-Program is to much for the muscle…so much sets for the biceps for ex. is to much…if you want to gain more condition on the muscle it’s ok i would say, but if you want to gain more muscle and strength it’s not the ideal way.
July 3rd, 2010 at 12:14 pm
as you see he is lowering it slowly, but exploding on the positive.
July 3rd, 2010 at 12:17 pm
well if you go heavy on any exercise, lets say your benching with close to your max, no matter how fast you try to lift it, it’ll still go slow. And of course, you’re going to lower it with control. but if you try to lift faster, you’ll use more muscle

the superset does not focus on strength, you said. what can i do to improve strength?
im a judo – brazilian jiu jitsu athlete
thanks

No no no, you have it backwards. Whenever you do more weight with less reps you allways do more sets. Also, doing a lighter weight and going to failure is proven to give more definition, mass, and endurance NATURALLY. I assume no one drinks that protein poison.
July 3rd, 2010 at 1:23 pm
you are wrong mate. more muscle gain would come from less sets and less reps and more weight
July 3rd, 2010 at 2:09 pm
nice tip on the grip for the hummer curls Vince… Thanks man!!!
keep on rockin!!!
July 3rd, 2010 at 2:23 pm
Hi Vince! Do you do that professionally or is it just your hobby? But real good clips, thanks a lot.
July 3rd, 2010 at 3:06 pm
both are correct, but work different muscle fibers, inevitably the same results. Most people find slow controlled movements work more because it beats up your muscles more. those other people you mentioned are bound to look good because fast intense workouts burn a lot of calories, but unless you have a really high calorie diet, chances are you wont be gaining muscle fast with that workout. and for the record, muscles aren’t designed to go fast and explosive, they are designed to contract…
July 3rd, 2010 at 3:47 pm
other peopole say exactly the contrary, “your muscles are designed to go fast and explosive” and they are pretty ripped themselfs, who shold i trust?

If people dont like vince’s form they should make a video and show us how its done. Some people think they r so perfect when they’re not and dont have the balls to prove it

@xxjabboxx
yeeah!
July 3rd, 2010 at 5:54 pm
i already told you, his programs work GREAT, there is no better man to listen to than Vince, and i already told you, reply me no longer, or i have my hacker friend destroy your computer!
July 3rd, 2010 at 6:05 pm
to clear up any confusion, I have never said anything about weight. Go on, check. also, check out vicsnatural. Its both impressive and true. And I never said using heavier weight won’t help, so I’ll just say it now. lighter weight with more reps and sets will give you more muscle gains. All you have to do is go to muscle failure, which would be a really long time if you used a pop can (which is why you wouldn’t see anyone doing that).
July 3rd, 2010 at 6:16 pm
again we seem to find ourselves in agreement. slow, controlled reps are the most effective way to gain muscle
July 3rd, 2010 at 6:36 pm
Luck? pssshhhh. I gots the skillz
July 3rd, 2010 at 7:01 pm
you quoted incorrectly silly
July 3rd, 2010 at 7:18 pm
I’m cheap because I have no need, nore the desire, to gain weight-training advice from someone who currently doesn’t look as good as me without a shirt on? Oh please…
July 3rd, 2010 at 7:20 pm
Well, if you have his programmes, you would know that his form is bad: Period.
And you’re the skinny fuck who was a fat pig who drank all – as stated in your earlier correspondence.
I can see you’re getting annoyed, so why contact me with a post regarding my post which I left to Vince?
If you can’t handle the truth, don’t comment on my post. Let sleeping dogs lie. You say: “Don’t talk when I have the slightest notion…” If you dont want me to talk then don’t comment on my post U fat fool U
July 3rd, 2010 at 7:34 pm
Yep, clears up everything. You buy people’s products when you don’t trust them enough to be able to do the exercises properly. Makes perfect sense…?
On a lighter note, for all of you interested, the only thing you need to do to stimulate muscle growth is to make sure the muscles are squeezing/ contracting. weight really has nothing to do with it. check out vicsnatural’s page for more info
July 3rd, 2010 at 8:33 pm
Lol I Yay! We’re in total agreement – I should stop picturing your balls. Back to our debate: because I have Vince’s videos and programmes, I know he is going against his own advice – not my advice – and contradicting himself – not me.
July 3rd, 2010 at 8:52 pm
I’m impressed, you seem to know a lot about my personal life to jump to such drastic conclusions! But again, look up the definition of contradictory before using it willy nilly. the entire second paragragh of this reply made no contextual sense
